About Me
Hi, I'm Rhett. I am a leadership and systems coach. I work 1:1 with mid-level and emerging leaders in public service and environmental systems change to maximize their impact by developing their unique leadership identities in order to authentically cultivate trust, communicate shared purpose, inspire followership, and find opportunities in conflict and adversity.
As a 1:1 and team coach, I look for new ways to understand how systems and institutions shape individual expression and well being, so I can support leaders and teams in creating more inclusive, engaging and sustainable workplaces.
As a change maker, I am particularly interested in exploring the intersections of identity and belonging and socio-ecological justice and regeneration. I co-lead an online peer coaching group supporting men through leadership development and the cultivation of healthy and inclusive gender expression using Co-Active coaching and peer coaching techniques from The Mankind Project.
I am a certified professional Co-Active coach, an ICF member, and am currently pursuing ORSC and Theory U certifications.

I identify as cis-gendered, male, straight, feminist, ADHD-empowered, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ ally, former public servant, recovering IT professional, life and leadership coach, and dad to three cats.
I have over 20 years experience as a mid-level leader in IT Governance for local government and public safety, 12 years of experience in peer coaching circles focusing on men’s work and healthy and inclusive expressions of gender identity.
I have experience leading cross functional teams, coaching and mentoring employees, strategic planning and visioning, shepherding mission-critical projects and services across public agencies with multiple stakeholders, and designing services with online and in-person touch points.
The core belief that guided me throughout my career was that I was not in the technology business, I was in the business of empowering people.
Leadership and team coaching is a more focused and impactful expression of that same core ethic.
